Iby Kovács

Iby Kovács is a graduate of the Franz Liszt Conservatory of Music in Hungary. She completed her dual degrees in classical piano and solfeggio/music theory. After spending 13 years in Los Angeles, California, she relocated to the Rio Grande Valley to continue her passion of teaching piano. Here, she opened the Classical Piano Academy with her husband, Alejandro. Iby is recognized as a judge for the National Guild of Piano Teachers annual piano tests. Her students are continually awarded in numerous competitions.

Alejandro Gonzalez Guzmán

Alejandro Gonzalez Guzmán is a graduate of Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Monterey, Mexico. He studied piano performance under the guidance of Dr. Abraham Choy, in McAllen, Texas, for 10 years. After meeting his wife, they established the Classical Piano Academy in 2004. Together they perform classical piano duos and dedicate most of their time to teaching the European classical piano method. His students are continually awarded in numerous competitions.
